Usborne Illustrated Stories of Princes & Princesses
When I was 10 years old I got this book sent by a pen pal from the UK. The stories are classics but they are retold quite so beautifully. I reread this so many times the book is wretched and doodled over. I can never forget how much I loved this. If I ever have children I hope they like it as much as I did.

The Book of Princes and Princesses by Mrs. Lang
Shelves: picture-books. The illustrations ar delightful, and the modern twist on these stories is really lovely--with none of the original magic and fun removed from the stories.
